Curious about long-range target shooting?
The ORA Introductory Day is designed specifically for new shooters and those who have never tried long-range shooting before. It’s an opportunity to experience the sport in a safe, structured environment—no previous shooting experience or firearms license is required.
What to Expect
- The day starts at 8:00 AM with a mandatory safety briefing.
- You’ll then get a quick overview of the ORA, including our activities, events, and how to get involved—if you wish to pursue the sport further.
- By mid-morning, we move onto the range to begin shooting from 300 yards.
- The remainder of the day is spent on the range under full supervision, with no formal. Please bring a snack lunch and something to drink..
What’s Provided
- ORA supplies rifles, ammunition, instruction, and supervision.
- You may bring your own non-restricted rifle, provided you hold a valid PAL (Possession and Acquisition License).
- If you choose to bring your own non-restricted rifle and ammunition, ensure it is chambered in one of the approved calibers (a list will be provided once the range is confirmed). You will need at least 40 rounds of ammunition.
- Please bring your own lunch and drinks, as there are no nearby food services.
